Job Description

Looking to take on a meaningful project where your financial insight can make a quick impact? We’re recruiting for a Finance Business Partner to join a well-structured and collaborative finance team on a 3-month temporary basis. This is a great opportunity for a qualified (or nearly qualified) accountant to step into a key role supporting senior stakeholders through a busy period of change and planning.You’ll act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders – providing clear, data-driven insight, financial challenge, and strategic support across a defined service area. You’ll also oversee a small team of Analysts and Assistants, ensuring strong financial control and accurate reporting throughout.You will be responsible for:

  • Partnering with senior managers to support financial performance and effective decision-making
  • Producing management information, forecasts and analysis to guide strategy
  • Building and reviewing business cases for new activities or service changes
  • Promoting sound financial governance and value for money
  • Supporting and deputising for the Senior Finance Business Partner when required
  • Coaching and supporting junior team members

What you will need:

  • To be qualified or finalist level CCAB / CIMA / ACCA / ACA
  • Previous experience in a similar role, such as Finance Business Partner / Management Accountant / Accountant / Finance Manager
  • To be confident in managing budgets, analysing data and presenting financial insight to non-finance stakeholders
  • To be comfortable working at pace and hitting the ground running in a short-term assignment
