This 3-month Assistant Accountant role offers the chance to contribute to a purpose-led healthcare organisation that values collaboration and inclusion. You’ll work alongside a friendly finance team and report to a supportive Finance Manager who values ideas, welcomes questions and encourages learning.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting with accounts payable and providing support to the full-time AP team member
- Supporting accounts receivable processes, particularly around month-end
- Preparing and posting journals and managing prepayments and fixed assets
- Helping with P&L reporting by collecting and inputting financial data
- Supporting the wider finance team with general duties and process improvements
Previous experience in a similar role, such as Assistant Accountant / Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant / Accounts Payable Clerk / Accounts Receivable Clerk / Ledger Assistant.
Confident in Excel (pivot tables are a bonus).
Hybrid working – 3 days in office, 2 days from home.
Flexible hours with a core hours arrangement.
Free, onsite parking.
