Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Leading a large accounts payable function in a shared service environment
- Managing, motivating and developing a high-performing team
- Conducting 1-1s and driving performance through effective KPI management
- Ensuring compliance with policies and governance standards
- Identifying and delivering process improvements across AP operations
- Supporting system implementations and maintaining vendor records and AP controls
What you will need:
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as Accounts Payable Manager / Purchase Ledger Manager / Ledger Supervisor / Finance Manager / Accounts Payable Team Leader / Accountant
- Strong understanding of AP functions within a corporate or shared services setting
- A people-first leadership style with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing large accounts payable teams
- Ability to influence, drive change, and continuously improve processes
