This Senior Management Accountant role puts you at the heart of a close-knit team in a unique aerospace manufacturing environment. You'll be the go-to for all things cash flow and management accounts, supporting a business that's known for its supportive ownership, genuine teamwork, and the chance to get stuck in from day one. Reporting to the Management Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Producing monthly management accounts using spreadsheets
- Managing cash flow and submitting daily reports on sales, cash position, borrowing, and bank covenants
- Delivering adhoc reporting and supporting various departments across the business
- Handling standard P&L, budgets, variance analysis, WIP provisioning, and inventory valuation
- Assisting with payroll journals and overtime (helpful, but not essential)
- Interacting with a range of teams to provide financial insight and support
What you will need:
- Previous experience in a similar role (Management Accountant, Financial Accountant, Finance Manager, or similar)
- Strong cash flow management skills
- Ability to interpret data, spot trends, and challenge when things don't add up
- QBE (qualified by experience) - formal qualifications not essential
- Confident with Excel (Vlookups and Pivot Tables)
