- Reporting to the Transactional Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting Accounts Receivable, including high-volume AR activity
- Assisting with Accounts Payable and providing holiday cover
- Processing and understanding monthly payroll
- Preparing P11Ds and supporting pension administration
- Calculating commission payments
- Processing journals and general bookkeeping
- Supporting all transactional finance activities
- Assisting with company credit card reconciliations
- Acting as a second pair of eyes across finance processes
- Supporting escalations and providing operational assistance to the Finance Manager
- Assisting with additional payrolls following future business acquisitions if required
What you will need
- Previous experience in a similar finance role (such as Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant, Bookkeeper, Assistant Accountant, Assistant Management Accountant, Finance Officer or Transactional Finance Officer)
- Broad transactional finance knowledge, including AR, AP, and payroll
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping and finance processes
- Experience with journals, pensions, and P11Ds
- Commission calculation experience (desirable)
- Comfortable working independently and supporting transactional finance
- Experience with Netsuite (advantageous)
