Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting daily bank reconciliations and postings across four primary accounts
- Managing credit card reconciliations and postings (GBP and Euro)
- Assisting with month-end processes, including prepayments, fixed asset, and accrual reconciliations
- Pulling stock reports and handling cash reconciliations to close books
- Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and contributing to the management pack
- Reporting by working day 12
- Improving processes and supporting the wider finance team
What you will need:
- Previous experience in a similar finance role (Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant, Junior Accountant, Assistant Accountant)
- Ideally 1-2 years’ experience and ready to take on more responsibility
- Strong Excel skills, including Vlookups and Pivot Tables
- Calm under pressure, intuitive, and comfortable speaking with stakeholders
