As Commercial Management Accountant, you’ll be at the heart of a business that’s niche, incredibly supportive and proud of its staff retention. You’ll enjoy a modern working environment, study support, and a benefits package that actually means something.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Producing monthly management accounts, preparing and analysing profit and loss, and providing actuals reporting against budget with commentary
- Breaking down P&L into operational and department categories, interrogating results, and supporting reforecasting and budgeting
- Calculating and understanding fuel prices and customer recharges
- Working with large data sets to provide detailed MI for senior management review
- Reviewing operational costs and supporting with ad hoc analysis
- Supporting process improvement, efficiency, and automation within MS Dynamics
What you will need:
- Previous experience in a similar role (Assistant Management Accountant, Management Accountant, Finance Analyst)
- Good understanding of technology and a passion for interpreting numbers
- Strong Excel skills, comfortable with Xlookups, Pivots, and advanced formulas
- Early stages of ACCA or CIMA study, or QBE with relevant experience
- A mindset for making improvements and settling into the role for the next few years
