Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for:
- Introducing accountability, performance standards and structured ways of working
- Identifying and implementing efficiency improvements
- Increasing output and capacity utilisation, reviewing workflows and supporting automation
- Improving operational controls, reporting and reducing key-person dependencies
- Developing stronger relationships with customers, suppliers and strategic partners
- Building proactive sales activity and commercial planning, exploring growth and diversification opportunities
- Helping shape the long-term future of the business and supporting integration into a wider group structure
What you will need:
- Proven leadership experience, ideally as a General Manager or similar (Operations Manager, Site Manager, Plant Manager)
- Strong people management skills and stakeholder management ability
- Commercial mindset with experience driving change and improving performance
- Ability to challenge existing ways of working and build accountability and structure
- Experience in manufacturing, operational improvement or multi-site/acquisitive business environments highly desirable
- Manufacturing, packaging or production sector experience is a bonus, but leadership, commercial acumen and change management capability are most important
