The Next Step Trust is recruiting for the following vacancy…
You will need to be flexible, responsible and proactive in maintenance and caretaking, with a keen eye for detail to meet our high standards.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
- Regularly inspecting sites and identifying and resolving any maintenance repairs to ensure a safe environment.
- Organising and scheduling equipment maintenance tasks.
- Responsibility for vehicle safety and hydro pool maintenance and safety.
- Working alongside the Health and Safety team to oversee development projects on site.
- Overseeing the Cleaners and managing cleaning operations to maintain building standards.
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience in Caretaking and Maintenance/Handyperson skills.
- Being prepared to lone work and be a key holder.
- Hold a full driving license and be willing to drive to other centres.
Required to share responsibility of being On-Call for the sites.
Benefits include:
- 5.2 weeks Annual Leave, increasing with years worked.
- Mileage paid at 0.45p per mile where applicable.
