£28,000 per annum plus quarterly bonus and fantastic benefits. 40 hours per week across 5 days. Based onsite – BA22 7AE. Due to the location of the Estate a driving license is recommended for this role.

Supporting e-commerce, retail, hospitality, wholesale and manufacturing, this varied role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment where no two days are the same.
As Merchandise Admin Assistant, you’ll play a key role in keeping products moving efficiently across the business. From managing purchase orders and tracking deliveries to supporting stock allocation and reporting, you’ll help ensure our customers and teams always have the right products at the right time. Key Responsibilities- Raise and manage a high volume of purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
- Track deliveries and resolve any supply or stock issues proactively.
- Monitor stock levels across e-commerce, retail, hospitality and wholesale channels.
- Support replenishment processes for best-selling products.
- Produce trading reports and assist with sales analysis.
- Use sales and trend data to support forecasting and future ordering decisions.
- Liaise with suppliers, warehouse teams and logistics partners.

- Previous experience in merchandising, buying administration or stock management.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.

The Product Team is responsible for every aspect of product across the estate covering retail in our shops and online, products for hospitality, events and wholesale. The team includes buying and merchandising, new product development, packaging and procurement. The Product Team will work alongside the various internal departments to help to develop the product proposition of the key pillars of the estate: hotel, gardens, visitor attractions as well as the butchery, creamery, productive growing and bakery, adding products that complement these pillars and fit with The Newt’s vision: prioritising seasonality, sourcing or producing the highest quality products, and using local suppliers where possible.
Inside of the Product Team, the Merchandising Team keeps accurate stock control of food, drinks, packaging and consumables. Our aim is to keep all lines in stock whilst minimising wastage via careful tracking of BBE dates. We keep clear, managed records of stock to give the wider estate full visibility on product availability from our centralised warehouse.
