£12.48 per hour plus fantastic benefits, 30 hours per week across 4 days, including regular weekends, 8am–4pm. Due to the location of the Estate, a driving license is required for this role.

Our Housekeepers play a vital role in the launch of our brand-new luxury residences opening in 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new chapter for The Newt, helping to set the tone, standards and guest experience from day one.
You’ll ensure our beautifully restored Regency rectory and companion houses are maintained to an impeccable standard, creating comfort, serenity and a warm welcome the moment guests arrive. With exceptional quality, thoughtful presentation and meticulous attention to detail, you’ll help deliver the seamless, memorable stays that reflect The Newt’s signature warmth and excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare guest bedrooms to an exceptional standard, including bed-making and linen changes.
- Thoroughly clean, sanitise and restock bathrooms, ensuring towels and amenities are refreshed.
- Vacuum, mop and maintain flooring to consistently high standards throughout the residences.
- Dust and clean furniture, touchpoints, staircases, corridors and guest circulation areas.
- Maintain shared/public areas, including unique spaces such as the cinema room.
- Keep connected outdoor areas tidy, clean and guest-ready.
- Report maintenance or housekeeping concerns promptly.
- Respond warmly and professionally to guest enquiries, supporting a seamless stay.
