We are seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager for The Botanical Rooms to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant. The ideal candidate will be confident, self-motivated, and passionate about great hospitality, leading from the front to deliver an exceptional guest experience. You will support a team of 25 staff, stepping in to manage the department in the absence of the restaurant manager. Building a strong working relationship with your manager is crucial for maintaining department fluidity.

You will embody our passion for food and drink, expanding your own knowledge and sharing it with guests and team members alike. Your leadership will inspire your team to enhance the guest journey, fostering a positive, productive, and morale-boosting environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work hand-in-hand with the kitchen team and beverage team.
  • Support the manager in team recruitment, training & development.
  • Manage restaurant rota & holiday whilst controlling labour cost and required staffing levels.
  • Maintain restaurant standards through managing routine systems & improving where necessary.
  • Maintain company reputation by ensuring you and your team always look impeccable.
  • Support the F&B managers in stock control and costs.
  • Ensure The Newts style of service and ethos is always upheld.
