Join Dila - Where REAL People Make a Difference. Be part of an exciting new restaurant opening on Charlotte Street in the heart of Fitzrovia. Launching in late autumn 2026, Dila is an Eastern Mediterranean restaurant seen through the lens of a Londoner - bringing together vibrant flavours, generous hospitality and exceptional produce.

We are looking for an organised, hands-on and highly dependable Back of House Manager to join our opening team. This is a key operational role with sole responsibility for managing all deliveries into Dila, alongside leading our back-of-house support operation and ensuring the spaces behind the scenes are organised, safe and running seamlessly.

You will lead a team of 1 Senior Kitchen Porter and 2 Kitchen Porters, setting clear standards and creating an efficient, supportive environment that enables our chefs and restaurant teams to perform at their best. This is an exciting opportunity to join Dila from the very beginning, establish our back-of-house systems and processes and take real ownership of an essential part of a brand-new restaurant operation.

About You and The Role:

  • Take sole ownership of Dila's delivery operation, coordinating delivery schedules and receiving, checking and recording all incoming goods accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure deliveries are checked against orders, identifying shortages, damages or discrepancies and working with the relevant teams and suppliers to resolve issues promptly.
  • Oversee the safe and efficient movement of deliveries throughout the building, ensuring products are quickly transferred to the correct kitchen, bar, cellar or storage areas and maintaining excellent stock rotation.
  • Lead, organise and develop a team of one Senior Kitchen Porter and two Kitchen Porters, managing day-to-day priorities and ensuring consistently high standards across the back-of-house operation.
  • Take ownership of cleanliness and organisation across wash-up, storage, waste and other back-of-house areas, ensuring cleaning schedules and operational standards are consistently maintained.
  • Work closely with the kitchen, bar, restaurant and management teams, anticipating operational requirements and ensuring the back-of-house function provides seamless support throughout the day.
  • Manage waste, recycling and responsible disposal, supporting Dila's sustainability commitments while maintaining all food safety, COSHH, Health & Safety and hygiene standards.
  • Bring previous experience within a busy restaurant, hotel or hospitality back-of-house operation, with strong organisational and leadership skills and the confidence to take ownership of a fast-paced delivery and logistics function.
