The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
This is an exciting time to join our team of radiographers at NCCC Carlisle, with new SGRT equipment installed on one of our two Varian TrueBeams. We have recently commenced MRI-only planned prostate radiotherapy. Our dedicated radiographers are responsible for delivering radiotherapy to approximately 1,000 new referrals per year for all adult cancers, utilizing VMAT solutions, SABR, and daily IGRT. You will receive full support and training to develop your skills as a therapeutic radiographer. Newly qualified radiographers are encouraged to apply.
Carlisle is a small city near the beautiful Lake District National Park and Solway Coast, with excellent road and rail links to major cities in the North of England and Scotland. There is a range of affordable housing options available in the city and surrounding areas.

We seek a skilled, reliable, adaptable, and trustworthy therapeutic radiographer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of radiotherapy and demonstrate a professional, caring, and kind attitude aligned with our Trust values.
The role involves working on a rotational basis in both pre-treatment and treatment sections, supporting the delivery of radiotherapy procedures, including pre-treatment imaging, plan preparation, and treatment. You will undertake radiotherapy practice independently and professionally, adhering to protocols and procedures with care and accuracy.
You will contribute to holistic patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team, offering advice and information regarding radiotherapy to patients and their carers.
Our staff manage over 6,500 patient contacts daily across various sites, including Freeman Hospital, RVI, and others, delivering cutting-edge healthcare supported by state-of-the-art diagnostic services and fostering innovation in clinical practice.

Key responsibilities include:
- Working on a rotational basis in radiotherapy treatment and pre-treatment sections.
