Numeracy Intervention Tutor (Key Stage 3 Maths) - 37 hours per week, term-time only (39 weeks per year) We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Numeracy Intervention Tutor to support Key Stage 3 students in developing confidence and achievement in Mathematics. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about improving outcomes for young learners through targeted intervention and small-group support.
Role Overview
- Deliver numeracy intervention sessions for Key Stage 3 students
- Support pupils who require additional help in Maths
- Work closely with the Numeracy Coordinator and Maths department to identify learning gaps
- Build students' confidence, engagement and problem-solving skills
- Monitor and report on student progress
- Have experience supporting or teaching Maths at Key Stage 3
- Be confident working with small groups and individual students
- Be patient, encouraging and able to motivate learners
- Have strong communication and organisational skills
- Have sound knowledge of the National Numeracy Tests
- Hold relevant qualifications or experience in education/support work
- Grade 5 SCP 10 - 13 Full time equivalent £28,608
