Bar/Restaurant Assistant

We are looking for an experienced Bar & Dining Room Assistant to join our team at The New Thomas Arms Hotel.

This role is ideal for someone with full experience in a similar hospitality role, who takes pride in their work and consistently delivers outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serving food and drinks in the bar and dining room to a high standard
• Delivering friendly, professional, and attentive customer service
• Taking orders accurately with strong attention to detail
• Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of all service areas
• Handling cash and card payments responsibly
• Supporting functions and events in our busy function room

• Previous experience in a bar and/or restaurant role is essential
• Excellent attention to detail
• A genuine passion for giving great customer service
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Must be available to work evenings and weekends
