Fast Track Mortgage Adviser Academy (12 Month Commission Guarantee included). An outstanding opportunity to commence a long-term career in Financial Services becoming a full time, fully employed, CII qualified Mortgage & Protection Adviser working for one of the UK\\\’S leading mortgage providers, with home-based working once you have completed your first 16 weeks of office-based training.
Job Title: Trainee Mortgage Adviser
Salary & Schedule
- During the first 16 weeks of training, a basic salary of: £25,500K per annum.
- From month 4 to month 6, basic salary plus guaranteed commission to: £30K per annum.
- From month 7 to month 10, basic salary plus guaranteed commission to: £32.5K per annum.
- From month 10 to month 16, basic salary plus guaranteed commission to: £35K per annum.
- From month 17, £25K basic salary plus unlimited commission, earn a realistic: OTE of £45K+.
Contract Basis: Full time, permanent, employed role.
Location & Hours
- Location: Initially office based for the first 16 weeks of training at our Academy Centre Sheffield but once qualified, home working will be available. You will however need to live within a 1-hour 30 minute commute of Sheffield for easier travel in the initial training stages.
- Working hours during training: 9.30AM-5.00PM Monday to Friday with no holidays during the 16 weeks.
- Post training: mix of 9AM-6PM and 11AM-8PM Monday to Friday. No weekend or bank holiday work required.

Role & Responsibilities
As a home-based Mortgage and Protection Adviser, the work of contacting customers, securing appointments and progressing mortgage and protection applications is the responsibility of our Adviser Support Teams. The Adviser will focus on delivering quality advice and sales to customers. This is a telephone-based role where you will be writing in excess of 14 mortgages with protection each month.
Your long-term career is important to us and we are committed to training and development to help you realise your full potential. Many Adviser colleagues have progressed within the company, including the entire Sales Management team who started as Mortgage Advisers.
Qualifications & Skills
- A strong desire to work within the Financial Services industry, particularly mortgages and protection.
- A strong track record in sales.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with outstanding communication and listening skills, ability to explain complex information clearly.
- Extremely well organized, disciplined and structured in approach.
- Highly competent IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
