Are you an expert in B2B conference sponsorship sales & networking events?

If you have a proven track record of selling sponsorships for high-level, invitation-only B2B conferences and networking events to C-suite decision-makers, The Network Group would like to hear from you!

We are not looking for candidates whose experience is limited to SaaS, delegate sales, exhibitions, media, or digital advertising. We are specifically seeking professionals who understand the exclusive networking model and can confidently sell strategic event partnerships at a senior level.

This is a senior role reporting directly to the Managing Director, offering significant ownership, responsibility, and earning potential for commercially driven sponsorship specialists.

The Role

You will play a crucial role in developing relationships with senior stakeholders across multiple industries, securing sponsorship partnerships, and contributing to the ongoing success and growth of our event portfolios.

This is a consultative, relationship-led sales role suited to professionals who excel at building trust, creating value, and closing high-level sponsorship partnerships.

Key responsibilities

  • Selling strategic sponsorship packages for invitation-only networking events
  • Building, developing, and managing long-term relationships with senior decision-makers
  • Understanding client objectives and positioning our events as high-value business development opportunities
  • Identifying new commercial opportunities and generating sustainable sponsorship revenue
  • Taking ownership of sponsorship portfolios and driving growth across multiple event brands
  • Working closely with the Managing Director and senior leadership team to deliver commercial success

What We're Looking For

  • Proven success selling sponsorships for executive-level conferences, forums, or networking events (Fintech, Data Security, and Marketing experience preferred)
  • A proactive self-starter with the confidence and drive to identify, develop, and win new business opportunities with minimal supervision
  • Self-motivated, ambitious, and results-driven
  • Strong commercial acumen and a track record of consistently delivering and exceeding revenue targets
  • Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills
