We are looking to recruit a part-time Medication Assistant to work across our four residential treatment houses in Brimscombe, Stroud. Working closely with the Medication Lead, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe management of medications, maintaining accurate records and supporting service users to access the healthcare they need. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail, medication management experience and a passion for making a difference in people's lives.
Hours: 28 hours per week, worked over 4 days
Location: Brimscombe, Stroud
What will you do?
Oversee medication management systems across our residential treatment houses, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
Receive, check, book in, store, administer and return medications safely and accurately
Carry out medication audits and maintain high standards of quality assurance and record keeping
Liaise with GPs, pharmacies and healthcare professionals to ensure prescriptions are processed promptly
Manage and coordinate service user medical appointments and related transport arrangements
Support the effective use and monitoring of electronic medication administration record (eMAR) systems
