Overview

Join Our Team as a Criminal Justice Keyworker! Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of women involved in the criminal justice system? The Nelson Trust is looking for dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team of Criminal Justice Keyworkers.

Position: Criminal Justice Keyworker – Female

Location: Wiltshire

Salary: £25,000 – £27,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Hours: Full-time – 35 hours per week

Contract: Fixed term – Maternity Cover

Pension: Auto Enrolment Pension (6% employer contribution)

Responsibilities

  • Provide practical and emotional support to women involved in the Criminal Justice System.
  • Collaborate with referring organisations, including Voluntary, Statutory, and Criminal Justice agencies.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of client needs, including health, psychological, and social needs.
  • Develop, implement, and review gender-responsive support plans.
  • Support clients through the court process and attend multi-agency meetings as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to the development of services.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience working with women with multiple complex needs.
  • Knowledge of gender-responsive practice and trauma-informed environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a caseload and cope in stressful situations.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.
