Our security team constantly maintain the highest standards of safety for all our guests, customers, members, and team. As the Security Manager your position is key to our building having an exceptional safety culture.
Reporting to the Head of Safety and Security you will:
- Lead and manage the security team, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
- Ensure the safety of The Ned’s members and guests, various events, and high-profile functions.
- Efficiently deputise and represent The Ned's security team in the absence of Head of Safety and Security.
- Develop and implement hotel security policies and procedures in compliance with industry and internal standards.
- Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments, and emergency response planning.
- Monitor surveillance systems and ensure the effective use of security technology.
- Collaborate with hotel management, law enforcement, and emergency services as needed.
- Investigate security incidents, prepare reports, and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct security awareness training for hotel employees.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security threats, best practices, and industry standards.

What you can bring to the role:
- Proven experience as a Security Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality sector and/or 5-star hotels.
- Strong knowledge of security protocols, risk management, and crisis response.
- Impeccable leadership skills with the ability to motivate, inspire, and develop teams at all levels.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to switch between inspiring teams or representing your department to the executive team.
- Familiarity with security technology, CCTV, and access control systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.
- Holding the NEBOSH Certification is preferred for this role.
