In-room dining waiters at The Ned are the smiling faces looking after the guests in our 250-bedroom hotel, serving up a perfectly curated menu made of the best dishes from some of our 10 restaurants - each serving a unique style of cuisine from around the world. We cater to many different types of hotel guests, so you'll be tailoring your service style to delivering the perfect hospitality experience every time - whether that's looking after a leisure guest, business traveller, VIP, or anything in between.

Reporting into the IRD leadership team and as the friendly face of the guest experience you will:

  • Be the main point of contact for your guests' entire visit, tailoring your service to deliver the exceptional experiences that The Ned is known for.
  • Using your unrivalled knowledge of our menus, you'll answer all guests queries and provide recommendations to make sure every guest receives the perfect meal.
  • You'll be visiting guests in their hotel rooms so you will always be impeccably presented, delivering a slick operation, all with a friendly and open energy.
  • Be the last guardian of food and drink quality and presentation, never letting anything lower than Ned standards reach our guests.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, protecting our guests and your teammates from any possible harm.

Shifts vary between an 0630 start and a late finish including weekends and bank holidays depending upon operation.

  • You'll have a fantastic personality, engaging with our customers to give them an exceptional service.
  • Great all-round food and drinks knowledge is an advantage, but we can teach you everything you need to know about our menus.
  • You'll be taking orders and answering guests queries on the phone as well as in person, so an excellent phone manner and communication skills are essential.
