About The Ned:

The Ned and Ned\’s Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants for like-minded individuals to meet, work and have a good time.

The Ned launched in 2017 in the heart of the City, in the former Midland Bank headquarters. The Ned City of London houses Ned\’s Club – a private members\’ space, gym and rooftop – alongside a public spa, a whole floor of event spaces, ten restaurants and bars and 250 hotel bedrooms.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the concierge team to deliver all performance – commercial, operational, customer, and team
  • Provide guests with expert advice on local attractions, dining, and entertainment.
  • Efficiently handle guest requests and resolve any issues with professionalism.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of The Ned\’s services and amenities.

What you can bring to the role

  • Proven leadership experience within a concierge team is essential, ideally within a similar environment
  • Membership of Les Clefs D\’Or
  • A proven track record of delivering outstanding people management and commercial performance in a similar role
  • Multilingual skills will be beneficial, but are not essential
  • Our concierge team are a constant presence in the heart of the ground floor, so you\’ll obviously have a bright personality and genuine warmth with a passion for outstanding hospitality
  • Our ground floor is host to live music every day and multiple bars and restaurants. As such this can be a lively and high-pressure environment, so a calm demeanour and ability to defuse situations and turn them into a positive is extremely valuable
