Ned’s Club members celebrate everything life has to offer, and our Club spaces are for like-minded professionals to meet, work, and have a good time. We’re looking for a Head of Membership Development to help us grow and curate an exceptional community here at Ned’s Club.
About The Ned: The Ned and Ned’s Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants for like-minded individuals to meet, work and have a good time. The Ned launched in 2017 in the heart of the City, in the former Midland Bank headquarters. The Ned City of London houses Ned’s Club - a private members’ space, gym and rooftop - alongside a public spa, a full floor of events spaces, ten restaurants and bars and 248 hotel bedrooms.
Where you’ll be working: You’ll be based out of The Ned London, located in the beautiful old Midland Bank with occasional off-site visits to represent us at an event. We’re in the office five days a week, as we’re very relationship-focused and it’s just not the same on a screen.
Reporting to the Commercial Director you will:
- Shape the future of Ned’s Club by creating and delivering a three-year membership growth strategy to attract a diverse and future focused membership base.
- Manage and build a strong pipeline of prospective members through acquisition events, sponsorship and collaborations, outreach campaigns, and presence at networking events.
- Partner with the Commercial Director and Head of Membership to establish and support the Membership Committee as a key driver of growth, advocacy and community engagement.
- Leverage market insight and data trends to identify risks and opportunities that inform your ongoing strategy and commercial success.
- Lead a small but mighty team of acquisition specialists, setting strategic vision and commercial targets that lead to measurable business impact.

What you can bring to the role:
- Minimum of five years’ experience in membership development, professional working, or aspirational lifestyle services in a premium or luxury brand environment, ideally within hospitality, lifestyle or cultural sectors.
- You’ll handle data with confidence to inform strategy and performance decisions with a clear focus on long term value creation, and you’ll have the proven track record to demonstrate it.
- Bringing a strong network within London, you’ll leverage your established relationships across brands, partners and community organisations.
- With your impeccable leadership skills you’ll be equally comfortable motivating, inspiring, and developing your own team, or collaborating across functions and influencing without hierarchy.
- Your proactive and adaptable nature will mean you are comfortable balancing strategic initiatives with day-to-day delivery.
- A passion for building community and creating memorable, meaningful member experiences.
