Role
Pastry Chef de Partie – all levels at The Ned & Ned’s Club.
About The Ned
- The Ned & Ned’s Club includes 10 restaurants, bars, a spa, private members’ space, and 250 hotel bedrooms.
- The pastry kitchen produces desserts and pastries for the hotel, members’ spaces, and restaurants, including wedding cakes, breakfast croissants, afternoon tea desserts, and Sunday Feast sweets.
- As a Pastry Chef de Partie, you will run service, creating beautiful desserts to finish off each meal.
Responsibilities
- Keep guests and customers well fed by preparing and serving dessert menus.
- Create desserts that look and taste amazing, always following Ned standards.
- Tackle glitches or issues head‑on, prioritising the guest experience every time.
- Work alongside other chefs, runners, and management teams to deliver a seamless experience to every guest.
- Maintain a safe and clean kitchen environment to protect guests and teammates from harm.
- Keep the kitchen clean, tidy, well presented, and ready to hand over to the next team of chefs throughout service (breakfast, lunch, dinner).
- Support the next team of chefs by helping to prep for the following service.
- Shift patterns vary, from early starts at 8 am to midnight closes.
Pay
- Demi Chef De Partie – £15.35 per hour (including service)
- Chef De Partie – £17.65 per hour (including service)
- Senior Chef De Partie – £17.95 per hour (including service)

Qualifications
- Previous experience on the line in a pastry kitchen.
- Specialist pastry or dessert skills are advantageous.

- Creative flair, with the potential to assist the Head Chef in menu creation.
