Ned’s Club Downstairs, The Vault, is a late-night cocktail lounge and club space in the original bank vault. As the Vault Assistant Manager, you will support the Vault Manager and the Ned's Club senior leadership team in overseeing the space, taking the reins whenever they aren’t on site and partnering on all commercial and strategic elements of running a successful business.
As a key part of the management team, you will:
- Support the Vault Manager in delivering all operational, commercial, experiential, and people performance.
- Contribute to and drive the late night lounge strategy to achieve our goals and build a long-term vision for the brand.
- Closely monitor financial performance, providing direction and making decisions to protect and drive profitability, including labour scheduling, expense control, sales forecasting, annual budgeting process and month end performance analysis.
- Ensure exceptional customer and member experience, being obsessive about details that can impact success.
- Hold the team accountable for performance as measured on the restaurant balanced scorecard.
- Ensure all regulatory compliance is maintained regarding health and safety and labour relations.
- Support with all people leadership tasks, including team recruitment, development, performance chats, and onboarding new starters.
Work shifts that start earliest at 4 pm and finish latest at 5 am.
