About The Ned: The Ned and Ned’s Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants for like‑minded individuals to meet, work and have a good time. The Ned launched in 2017 in the heart of the City, in the former Midland Bank headquarters. The Ned City of London houses Ned’s Club – a private members’ space, gym and rooftop – alongside a public spa, a whole floor of event spaces, ten restaurants and bars and 248 hotel bedrooms.

Reporting into the bar management team and as a key part of the food and beverage team you will:

  • Prepare and serve up perfectly made drinks from our range of menus.
  • Be the friendly face providing exceptional experiences at our guest service bars, along with recommendations and suggested drinks.
  • Speedily prepare orders at our service bars, keeping our waiters and runners stocked with the drinks they need to deliver a seamless experience to our guests.
  • Maintain a tidy, presentable, and slick operation, as all of our bars are in full view of the guests.
  • Be a guardian of drink quality and presentation, ensuring that nothing lower than Ned standards reaches our guests.
  • Maintain a safe and clean bar environment, protecting our guests and your teammates from any possible harm.

What you can bring to the role:

  • A fantastic personality, engaging with our customers to provide exceptional service.
  • Great all‑round drinks knowledge, ideally with experience in cocktails and/or wines.
  • Great all‑round coffee and hot drinks knowledge.
  • A creative flair is always welcome – we host regular cocktail competitions with our winning drinks being added to the menus.
  • A desire to learn and progress, including the option to gain a Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) qualification, and extensive bar training as part of our monthly learning calendar.
