Our housekeeping team looks after our bedrooms, public areas including our restaurants and bars, our members areas, spa, and laundry and uniform facilities. As a Housekeeping Manager you will be at the heart of daily operations, supporting your team, keeping things running smoothly, and making sure every guest and Ned's member feels at home.
Where will you be working? Situated in the heart of the City, in the former Midland Bank headquarters, The Ned houses Ned’s Club, a private members’ space, gym and rooftop, alongside a public spa, ten restaurants and bars and 250 hotel bedrooms.
What will you be doing?
- Be the right hand of our Assistant Executive Housekeeper, overseeing daily operations and upholding impeccable cleanliness of our hotel rooms and all the public areas.
- You will be responsible for various administrative functions within the housekeeping department, including managing purchasing and stock control, overseeing scheduling, liaising with contractors and suppliers.
- We’re a fast-paced environment at The Ned, so you’ll be adept at multi-tasking and making quick decisions that are always to the benefit of our members, guests, and customers.
- You’re an inspirational leader, so training and development of your team will come as second nature to you, and you’ll be an expert in creating fantastic team cultures.
What you can bring to the role:
- Previous housekeeping manager experience with a proven track record of maintaining exceptional cleanliness, service, and team management.
- High standards are essential as our customers and guests expect the best.
- A commercial mindset is needed in all our leaders.
- You will have a strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, from health & safety and supplier management to compliance and day-to-day problem-solving.
