We’re looking for a Business Central Developer to join our Microsoft Business Applications team and play a key role in delivering high‑quality Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions to our growing customer base. This role is ideal for a mid‑level Developer who already has solid BC experience and is ready to step up, broaden their exposure, and develop into more specialist areas. As part of the role, you’ll have the opportunity to cross‑train into LS Retail, building retail‑specific capability on top of your Business Central foundation. You’ll work closely with functional consultants, senior developers and architects to design, customise and extend Business Central solutions using AL, while gaining exposure to retail modules, POS functionality and multi‑site environments. This is a hands‑on development role with clear progression.
In This Role, You’ll
- Develop and customise Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions using AL
- Support the design and build of extensions aligned to customer requirements
- Collaborate with consultants to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Build and support integrations using APIs and web services
- Contribute across the full development lifecycle – design, build, testing, deployment and documentation
- Support go‑lives and post‑deployment enhancements
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including escalations from support
- Begin structured cross‑training into LS Retail, including POS, promotions and retail‑specific functionality
- Continuously build technical capability and contribute to internal best practice
What will you bring?
- 2–4 years’ hands‑on development experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central
- Strong working knowledge of AL (C/AL exposure beneficial but not essential)
- Experience developing extensions, working with events, APIs and web services
- Understanding of core ERP processes such as finance, warehousing or supply chain
- Ability to write clean, reliable code and deliver to agreed deadlines
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Comfortable working with both technical and functional stakeholders
- Experience with DevOps, version control or deployment pipelines is advantageous
- Microsoft certifications are a bonus, not a requirement
