Position Overview
Finance Specialist – Europe Region. Supports the Europe team in finance and accounting functions. Reports to the Finance Manager.

Location and Contract
Location: United Kingdom (Hybrid). Contract: Fixed‑term 1 year with potential extension.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, organize, and key invoices from various sources into the Accounts Payable system, ensuring payments are made per established budget and source, and prepare invoices for payment.
  • Assist with monthly and yearly accounting close.
  • Close out reconciling items, analyze and post corrections.
  • Assist with ad‑hoc reporting and analysis.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Finance Manager or DFO.
  • Administer and maintain finance/accounting activities in confidentiality and in accordance with TNC policies and best practices.
  • Apply knowledge of GAAP and fund accounting principles, practices, and regulations.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field and 3 years of related experience or equivalent.
  • Experience with GAAP and fund accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Experience using automated accounting systems.
  • Experience with accounting/financial issue analysis.
  • Experience using accounting and financial reporting systems.
  • Technical experience with spreadsheets, general ledger reports, and financial management tools.

Desired Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Finance & Accounting.
  • Strong organizational skills, including prioritization and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to multi‑task, and data entry accuracy.
  • Good problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to manipulate, analyze, and interpret data; advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel.
  • Fluency in German and English.
