We have an excellent opportunity for Part Time Glass Collectors and Bar Backs to join The National.
The ideal candidates will have (at least 6 months) experience in a similar busy city centre bar where service and quality is paramount.
About the role;
- Ensure bars are fully stocked
- Assist the bartenders during busy service ensuring that they have everything they need; ice, fruit, bottle beer, and minerals
- Changing and moving of beer kegs
- Moving of stock between the bars
- Ensuring all store cupboards are kept tidy throughout the shift.
- Assisting the glass collectors on floor when required
Please note: This role involves working Saturday evenings, although there may be the occasional opportunity to pick up additional shifts during the week.
We will only consider applications that meet the following:
Essential Criteria:
- Fully flexible to work Saturday evenings
- Proven track record of Customer Care
Desirable Criteria
- NVQ Level 2 in Food & Drink Service (or similar)
- 6-12 months experience in a busy bar
- Level 2 or higher Food Hygiene Certificate (must be current)
- First Aid Certificate (must be current)

The rate of pay is £12.71 per hour
