Retail Team Member – Shrewsbury Summary Weâre looking for a Retail Team Member to welcome visitors to the National Trust shop at Attingham Park to answer their questions and help them make the most of their day. Salary: ÂŁ11.50 per hour Duration: Fixed Term Contract until 4th January 2026 Hours: This role is an hourly paid, fixed term role. Wherever possible we aim to offer a consistent working pattern, but weâre looking for flexibility as it may be necessary for us to alter this pattern from time to time to suit the needs of the business. Weâd give you as much notice of this as possible. Flexible hours, weekend and bank holiday working required as part of the role. Provisional interview date: Wednesday 22nd and Thursday 23rd January 2025 For this role, youâll need to complete our online assessment instead of using a C.V. or online application form. This will help us understand more about your strengths and give you more information on the role. What it’s like to work here Working alongside the Retail Manager, Team Leader and another two team members with the support of a large number of volunteers, you will work across both the main shop and the soon to open garden and plant sales shop which is new for 2025. What you’ll be doing As a member of the retail team, youâll be offering visitors help and advice with their shopping. Youâll have high standards of presentation in the shop while providing excellent service to all customers. Youâll also be able to talk to them about how everything they buy helps to fund the work of the National Trust. Other duties may include arranging, receiving and unpacking deliveries, creating shop displays and working with others in the team to keep the shop floor clean and organised.
