You will be joining an established team handling a varied and interesting caseload of Environmental Protection Act matters from instruction through to settlement or trial, with support, flexibility, and long-term development opportunities available.

The Role
The successful candidate will manage a caseload of pre and post-prosecution EPA matters, including:
- Reviewing prosecution files and evidence
- Drafting legal documentation and notices
- Managing cases from inception through to conclusion
- Trial preparation, negotiations, and settlements
- Liaising with clients, counsel, courts, and stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with Criminal Procedure Rules and relevant legislation
- Using Proclaim Case Management System (CMS) effectively to manage litigation files and workflows
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Solicitor with Criminal Litigation experience
- Experience in Criminal Prosecution or Defence matters
- Ability to bill work at Grade B or above
- Previous experience using Proclaim CMS or similar legal case management software
- Strong organisational and case management skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced, high-volume environment
- Confident communicator with strong attention to detail
- Advocacy experience advantageous
- IT literate and commercially aware
