We are recruiting for a full‑time Marketing and Communications Manager (Good Causes Summaries) on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, based in any of the Heritage Fund’s offices in Birmingham, Nottingham, Leeds or Manchester (Hybrid Working).
Responsibilities
- The primary purpose of this post is to produce approximately 150 short, engaging Good Cause Summaries that will be used to showcase the impact of National Lottery funding.
- You will manage the end‑to‑end process of researching funded projects, drafting and polishing concise copy that follows a defined tone of voice, coordinating reviews and approvals, managing consent and image permissions, and ensuring content is finalised and submitted in line with requirements.
- Additional duties include writing and editing content, managing revisions, liaising directly with grantees, sourcing suitable images, and finalising approved content for submission to Allwyn.
- You will support the ongoing development and embedding of the Good Cause Summary system, work with data colleagues, deliver training on the system and reporting functions, and provide updates or briefings to colleagues, including senior staff.

The National Lottery Heritage Fund champions a hybrid working approach. Most employees will work from their contracted Heritage Fund office at least twice a week. Remaining days can be worked from home. Time spent on site visits or meetings at other Heritage Fund or external offices counts toward the minimum on‑site days.
