The NFL is currently undertaking one of the most ambitious global growth strategies in sport. A core part of this strategy is the development of commercial partnerships in international markets. As Partnership Sales Coordinator, this individual will be instrumental in developing compelling sales materials, building and managing a prospect pipeline, and ensuring the seamless delivery of sales operations through effective supplier and stakeholder coordination.
This job posting is for a position with one of the NFL’s third-party agency partners that provides services to the NFL. The individual selected for this role will be an employee of that third-party agency and not the NFL. All compensation, benefits, and other terms and conditions of employment are handled by the agency. The assignment to provide services to the NFL will be limited in duration but may be extended for an additional period by agreement between the NFL and the agency.
Responsibilities- Prospecting & Outreach
- Research and identify new sponsorship prospects across relevant sectors, building and maintaining a structured prospect database.
- Develop and execute targeted outreach campaigns via email, phone, LinkedIn, and industry events.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads, providing senior sales staff with opportunities through the sales pipeline to close.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to identify new commercial opportunities.
- Represent the organization at networking events, exhibitions, and conferences as required.
- Sales Materials and Ideation
- Create, design and maintain high-quality sponsorship prospectuses, pitch decks, and one‑pagers tailored to target audiences.
- Develop bespoke proposals and presentations for prospective sponsors, clearly articulating audience reach, brand benefits, and ROI.
- Continuously review and update sales materials to reflect current packages, pricing, and market positioning.
- Collaborate with design and marketing teams to ensure all materials meet brand guidelines and visual standards.
- Pitching and Negotiation
- In collaboration with sales colleagues, deliver compelling sponsorship pitches to senior stakeholders and decision‑makers, tailoring the narrative and package offering to align with each prospect’s objectives, target audience, and brand values.
- Follow up on all pitch activity in a timely and professional manner, maintaining momentum and keeping prospects engaged throughout the decision‑making process.
- Structure and flex packages throughout the deal cycle, working within pricing and wider internal frameworks.
- Manage the full deal lifecycle from initial agreement through to contract execution, working closely with legal and finance teams to ensure terms are accurately captured and compliant.
- Client Liaison and Hosting
- Design and coordinate high‑quality event itineraries for C‑suite guests, ensuring every touchpoint reflects the prestige of the NFL.
- Manage all guest communications ahead of events, including invitations, confirmations, logistical briefings, and any bespoke requirements, ensuring every detail is handled with professionalism.
- Leverage event hosting opportunities to advance commercial conversations naturally, identifying the right moments to introduce or progress sponsorship discussions.
- Conduct structured post‑event debriefs and follow‑up outreach with hosted prospects, capitalizing on the relationship built to progress commercial discussions and move opportunities forward in the sales pipeline.
- Sales Operations
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of all sales activity, pipeline, and performance metrics within the CRM system, including on behalf of senior sales staff.
- Support the production of regular sales performance reports and contribute to commercial forecasting.
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders across marketing, events, content, and finance to ensure deal requirements can be delivered by internal teams.
- Manage supplier invoicing and purchase order processes in line with internal procurement procedures.
- 1–2 years of experience in sponsorship, media, or B2B sales environments.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to develop creative, persuasive and professional sales materials.
- Confidence in outbound prospecting and direct client communication.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
- A proactive, self‑motivated approach with a commercial mindset.
- Experience using design tools such as Adobe InDesign, Canva, or similar.
- Understanding of sponsorship measurement and reporting frameworks.
This role may require international travel at certain times during the year.
