About the role
Are you ready to take centre stage in a role that blends expertise, influence, and real impact across our regional network? As an RMS Sales Consultant, you’ll be the driving force behind promoting and selling our Health & Safety products and consultancy services. You will empower agencies, support our customers, and shape best‑practice standards across the North East, building your presence with agencies and hosting engaging discussions about RMS offerings. You'll become the go‑to specialist, guiding agents, supporting customer conversations, joining meetings where needed, and providing expert insight that helps customers make informed decisions. This is a role where autonomy thrives: you’ll manage your own diary, balance time on the road with stakeholder engagement, and be measured on the impact you make across your region.
Provide deep technical expertise in General Insurance, offering high‑quality insight across the business. Be part of a team that provides specialist support to help NFU Mutual customers identify, assess, and reduce risks across their businesses. Field‑based role with company car.
Requirements and Qualities
- Proven initiative
- Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to manage your own time and diary effectively
- Strong customer‑facing skills, sales instinct, and ideally some understanding of risk or Health & Safety (NEBOSH or similar is a bonus but this will be completed as part of the role)
