Sales Development Representative (Energy Sector)
Location: Birmingham City Centre (Hybrid – 3 days office)
Type: Permanent – Full Time
Salary: competitive base + commission (realistic OTE £38,000–£45,000+)

We’re scaling our sales team and will hold a Discovery Day on Tuesday 26th May. This structured day will allow you to meet the team, understand the role, and demonstrate your suitability.
The Role
- Turn cold and warm prospects into qualified meetings for our Energy Consultants
- Re‑engage lapsed clients and bring them back into the pipeline
- Generate consistent, high‑quality opportunities
You will receive structured training, a clear playbook, day‑to‑day coaching, and a defined path to Energy Consultant / Account Manager within 6–12 months (OTE £40,000–£70,000+).
What You’ll Be Doing
- Outbound prospecting: calling and messaging UK businesses about energy renewals, procurement and decarbonising
- Booking and qualifying meetings before handing to consultants
- Re‑engaging previous energy clients for renewal opportunities
- Following up inbound leads and campaign enquiries
- Hitting daily and monthly KPIs for calls, meetings and opportunities
- Maintaining accurate CRM records and renewal timelines
- Representing TNEH professionally as an energy associate
What We’re Looking For
- B2B outbound SDR / BDR sales background
- Target‑driven, resilient and commercially minded
- Desire to build a long‑term career in the energy sector
- Experience at an energy broker, TPI, supplier or consultancy
- Familiarity with CRMs and energy sales workflows
- Interest in renewables, flexibility or sustainability
