The Role
As an Energy Sales Operations Lead, you will be at the heart of our sales delivery and procurement operations. Your role is to ensure sales activity runs smoothly from opportunity through to live supply by supporting sales teams, coordinating with energy suppliers, and maintaining high standards of accuracy, compliance, and client experience.
What you will be doing
- Sales Operations Support: Supporting SDRs and Energy Consultants with deal progression, contract processing and operational queries
- Energy Procurement Operations: Managing RFIs, RFQs, bespoke tenders and supplier pricing workflows
- Client Onboarding: Overseeing new client onboarding, managing objections, rejections and supply transfer delays
- Supplier Coordination: Acting as a key point of contact with supplier partners to ensure accurate and timely submissions
- Contract & Data Management: Managing LOAs, MOP contracts, supplier portals and halfâhourly data uploads
- Systems & CRM: Maintaining accurate records in the CRM and managing workflows via Zoho Ticket Desk
- Issue Resolution: Supporting billing queries and resolving operational issues alongside Client Relations
- Compliance & Quality: Ensuring all activity adheres to Ofgem, ADR and internal compliance standards
- Operational Reporting: Providing feedback and insight to support sales performance and decisionâmaking
What Weâre Looking For
- Experience in energy sales support, sales operations, or energy procurement administration
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously
- Confident communicator, comfortable working with sales teams, suppliers and clients
- Highly organised, proactive and comfortable working to deadlines
- Experience using CRMs and energy supplier portals
- Background in energy, utilities or B2B services
- Experience handling halfâhourly data, LOAs, tendering or supplier pricing
- Familiarity with Zoho ticketing system
