The predicted salary is between 25000 - 30000 £ per year.

We are looking for a Fundraising Assistant to support our fundraising colleagues and to ensure we provide outstanding stewardship to our supporters. You will work as part of a team and manage a number of supporters, stewarding them throughout their fundraising to maximise income and provide an excellent supporter experience.

You will manage our inboxes being the first point of call for our supporters, welcoming them to the charity. You will be highly organised and have a keen eye for detail to ensure income is coded correctly, data is recorded accurately and that orders and invoices are processed properly to ensure the smooth running of our fundraising events and challenges. You will conduct some fundraising research and have ownership of a number of small projects to support our overall fundraising portfolio.

What you'll do:

  • Deliver an outstanding supporter experience via phone, email, post and social media from the point of registration, by providing engaging stewardship throughout and thanking, all with a view to increasing supporter retention and maximising fundraising outcomes.
  • Undertake fundraising research and analysis.
  • Have ownership of small scale projects and bring your knowledge, skills, and expertise to develop products incrementally.
  • Maintain accurate records of gifts and other relevant data from individuals, groups and organisations on the database.
  • Ensure our materials supply chain can deliver materials to supporters as needed.
  • Provide additional administrative support as required.

  • Strong digital skills and a sound understanding of agile values & principles.
  • A criminal record check / DBS disclosure (if offered the position).
