We are looking for a fixed-term (12 months) Fundraising Data and Insight Lead to help National Deaf Children's Society to maximise and diversify our income streams. You will work closely with fundraising colleagues to produce robust reports, help design and deliver exciting customer-focussed initiatives, and get the most value for our customers.
What you'll do
- Create and maintain regular fundraising reporting
- Design and answer complex fundraising questions using data science methodologies
- Lead analytics work to understand our audiences, supports, and potential new customers
- Use AI to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of data reporting and analytics
- Work closely with key staff members including the Chief Income & Marketing Officer, and the Platform Lead for Money Matters (Fundraising)
What you'll need
- Proven experience in data science or data analytics
- An excellent grasp of fundraising within the third sector, and experience of supporter analysis and insights
- Experience leading work on complex financial or fundraising-related datasets
- Ability to use SQL and Python
- Confident and comfortable to translate complex information into useable and useful insights, and options for decision-making
- Strong digital skills and a sound understanding of agile values & principles
- A criminal record check / DBS disclosure (if offered the position)
