We are looking for a Fundraising Quality & Compliance Officer to lead our programme of fundraiser quality assurance and programme compliance monitoring across the UK, helping to ensure our fundraising activities meet the highest standards of quality, supporter experience and regulatory compliance. This is a highly visible role that involves regular travel, typically visiting a fundraising office each week for environment and culture observations to fundraising activity and provide practical feedback and support to fundraisers and agency partners.

This is a unique opportunity to combine your fundraising knowledge with compliance, audit and quality assurance expertise. You'll work closely with fundraising teams across the country, helping to improve standards, share best practice and ensure supporters receive an excellent experience.

What you'll do

  • Visit fundraising offices across the UK each week to assess compliance and observe fundraising activity.
  • Monitor and review fundraising practices, identifying risks, trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Review fundraising training and materials, providing feedback to internal teams and agency partners.
  • Produce reports and track actions arising from visits, monitoring and quality assurance activity.
  • Support call monitoring, mystery shopping and wider compliance review programmes.
  • Build strong relationships with fundraising teams and agencies, providing guidance and sharing best practice.

What you'll need

  • Experience working within the fundraising sector, ideally with knowledge of face-to-face fundraising.
  • Experience of compliance, auditing, quality assurance or monitoring activity.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Confidence in analysing information and producing clear reports and recommendations.
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly across the UK, including overnight stays where required, and hold a valid driving licence.
  • Strong digital skills and a sound understanding of agile values & principles.
  • A criminal record check / DBS disclosure (if offered the position).
