The Role
We are looking for a talented and user-focused UI/UX Designer to join The National College and help shape the experience of our digital products. In this role, you will be responsible for designing intuitive, high-quality user interfaces that create seamless and engaging user experiences for our customers.
Working closely with Product Managers and Developers, you will turn ideas and requirements into thoughtful, user-centred designs that balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility. You will champion design excellence across the platform, driving best practice in usability, accessibility, and visual consistency.

Requirements
- Proven experience designing digital products, with a strong portfolio demonstrating both UX and UI design capability across web and/or mobile platforms.
- Confidence working independently and taking ownership of the end-to-end design process across multiple products, features, and projects.
- Strong proficiency in Figma and other modern design and prototyping tools.
- Solid understanding of UX principles, user-centred design, interaction design, and accessibility best practices, with the ability to create intuitive and visually engaging user experiences.
- Experience using user feedback, usability testing, and data insights to inform design decisions and drive continuous improvement.
- A collaborative mindset with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
