Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to provide full-time one-to-one support for a student with specific medical and personal care needs at a well-regarded secondary school in Birkenhead (CH42). This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in a student\’s educational journey while working in a supportive and welcoming school environment.
Key Requirements:
- Valid First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain one)
- Experience supporting colostomy and bladder bag care
- Experience with feeding tubes and awareness of feeding safety protocols
- Previous experience supporting students with SEND needs, particularly those with communication or emotional health needs
- A caring, patient, and professional approach to student support
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
