The Role: As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at The National College, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and supporting cross-sell activity by identifying and engaging prospective customers. You will connect with prospects through email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels to introduce the company’s products and services, qualify opportunities, and schedule meetings or demos for the Education Consultant team. Your efforts will play a key role in building a strong sales pipeline and supporting overall revenue growth.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven track record of booking high-quality meetings or demos and exceeding activity or performance targets. Comfortable with cold calling and outbound prospecting. Experience researching accounts and contacts to deliver tailored outreach to decision-makers. Previous experience with self-generated prospecting and building target account lists. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment, demonstrating initiative and a willingness to learn.
- Skills and Competencies: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage prospect data effectively and build targeted client lists. Confident using CRM systems and sales engagement tools. Tech-savvy with an interest in education technology and digital learning solutions. Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Qualifications: Previous experience in Sales Development, Business Development, Inside Sales, or a similar customer-facing role is preferred. A background in Business, Sales, Marketing, Education, or a related field would be advantageous. Experience within EdTech or the education sector is beneficial but not essential.
