The Role: As a Graduate/Trainee SDR at The National College, you will support the Sales team in generating, qualifying, and nurturing leads to drive business growth. In this role, you will contribute to top‑of‑funnel activities by identifying and engaging prospective customers, while collaborating closely with both Sales and Marketing teams. You’ll gain hands‑on experience in client engagement, pipeline development, and the use of key sales tools and frameworks. This role offers valuable exposure to B2B sales within a SaaS environment. You will also maintain CRM data integrity and support campaigns designed to maximise lead generation.
- Source and reach out to leads from target prospect lists
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads through calls, emails, and LinkedIn
- Identify customer pain points and assess solution fit
- Schedule discovery calls and hand off qualified leads to Account Executives
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records in the CRM
- Collaborate with Marketing to improve messaging and targeting
- Track performance against sales development KPIs
