We are looking for a Full Time Deputy Manager for our Day Services Residential Service in Northern Ireland. Reporting into the Registered Manager you will support in running the service and deputise for them in their absence. Working closely with NAS Management and External Stakeholders, you will be responsible for supporting the staff team to facilitate positive outcomes for the people we support. You will display competency in managing and supporting staff around Positive Behaviour Support and challenging behaviour. The successful candidate will be experienced in line management activities including conducting appraisals, absence management and holding difficult conversations and possess the ability to think on their feet with strong decision-making skills. They will also possess an in-depth knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements, including an understanding of MCAs, DOLs, RISCA and CIW Regulations, possessing experience with ensuring compliance is in line with exacting standards and have good report writing skills. They will also be knowledgeable on the operation of multi discipline team meetings.
