This is an exciting opportunity to join an established charity with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality advice. You’ll be part of a supportive team that works collaboratively with partner agencies to achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients.
About the role
Referrals to the Forest of Dean Foodbank have increased over recent years, and this role has been created, with funding from Forest of Dean Foodbank, to provide dedicated advice and support to foodbank clients living in the local area.
You’ll work directly with people who may be experiencing financial difficulties or other challenges, helping them access appropriate advice and explore options to improve their situation. The service will primarily be delivered face to face at the foodbank, with home visits arranged where needed.
You’ll be employed and line managed by North & West Gloucestershire Citizens Advice, working closely with the Foodbank and providing progress updates to support the development and delivery of the service.

If you’re passionate about supporting people, enjoy working collaboratively and want a role where your work can have a meaningful impact, we encourage you to apply.
