We’re hiring Infrastructure Engineers (x2) at The National Archives. We’re growing our Infrastructure team — and looking for engineers who want to learn, build and grow with us. At The National Archives, infrastructure underpins how the UK’s digital record is preserved and accessed. This role isn’t just about keeping systems running — it’s about ensuring long-term access, reliability and trust in nationally important services.
You’ll work across cloud and on-prem (Azure, AWS, M365), supporting live services and helping improve resilience and service recovery, not just uptime. You’ll also be joining a well-established team, with Senior Engineers who bring deep experience and actively support development as the team expands.
This could be a great fit if you:
- Want to move into a broader, more complex infrastructure environment
- Enjoy learning across a wide tech stack
- Are ready to step beyond reactive support into improvement and ownership
- Value working in a collaborative, knowledge-sharing team
