We have an excellent opportunity for Part Time Glass Collectors and Bar Backs to join The National. The ideal candidates will have at least 6 months experience in a similar busy city centre bar where service and quality is paramount.

About the role:

  • Ensure bars are fully stocked
  • Assist the bartenders during busy service ensuring that they have everything they need; ice, fruit, bottle beer, and minerals
  • Changing and moving of beer kegs
  • Moving of stock between the bars
  • Ensuring all store cupboards are kept tidy throughout the shift
  • Assisting the glass collectors on floor when required

Please note: This role involves working Saturday evenings, although there may be the occasional opportunity to pick up additional shifts during the week.

We will only consider applications that meet the following:

Essential Criteria:

  • Fully flexible to work Saturday evenings
  • Proven track record of Customer Care

Desirable Criteria:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Food & Drink Service (or similar)
  • 6-12 months experience in a busy bar
  • Level 2 or higher Food Hygiene Certificate (must be current)
  • First Aid Certificate (must be current)

This is an excellent opportunity to join the provinces largest operator of licensed premises. The rate of pay is £12.71 per hour.
