We are currently expanding Trusted Sitters by The Nanny & Maternity Agency and are inviting experienced childcare professionals to join our carefully curated babysitting service. We are initially covering: Hampstead, Belsize Park, Primrose Hill, and surrounding areas of North West London, with further expansion planned soon.

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking experienced professionals from nannying and established childcare backgrounds who are interested in occasional and ad-hoc babysitting alongside their current roles. This opportunity is ideal for:

You are not required to accept bookings on days you are unavailable. We approach you with suitable requests, and you choose the sits that work for your schedule.

Hourly Rates

Sitters set their own hourly rate, typically ranging between £18–£25 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications). Families pay you directly for your agreed hourly rate.

Requirements

To be considered, you must be able to provide:

  • An up-to-date CV
  • Two contactable professional references
  • Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service preferred)
  • Valid Paediatric First Aid certificate
  • Proof of ID and right to work documentation

All sitters are interviewed and vetted prior to joining our network. Trusted Sitters is not an open directory; it is an agency-supported service built on professionalism, safety, and reliability.

Pay: £18.00-£25.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate: North West London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience: Childcare: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification: Enhanced DBS Check? (preferred), Paediatric First Aid Certification (preferred)

Work authorisation: United Kingdom (required)
